This was an amazing experience. We loved the house and everything it had to offer. We really loved how close it was to walk to shops and restaurants. It was a very neat experience and we hope to come back soon.

My husband and I came to Kansas City for a show at The Levee and the location of the hotel was perfect! Walking distance to The Levee, the Nelson museum of art and additional cool attractions Kansas City has to offer. Prior to our arrival I had called and spoke to Justin who was super helpful and made sure all my questions were answered. When we arrived we followed the detailed instructions provided by the hotel via email. There was no hassle to get in to the building or our room. The room and hotel space was so cool! We had a fireplace in our room and there plenty of space for my husband and myself. The dining area overlooks a beautiful yard and just screams quaint bed and breakfast vibes. The floors creak--to be expected for a historical building--and adds to the overall charm of Southmoreland on the Plaza. My husband and I are definitely staying for a longer period next time we visit Kansas City!

This is a quaint spot with individual rooms for rent. My son and I stayed a couple of nights and it was perfect for us. Just the right size room although others might have found it to be tiny. We were on the 3rd floor which was a bummer but the price we paid was worth it. The parking lot in the back is tiny, really tiny. If you have an oversized vehicle don't even try to come back there. It's best to use street parking. When the parking lot is full, you may have to back all the way out since turning around may not be possible. Overall, this was great a great visit for us. You can't beat the location. It's close to tons of stuff.

Stay here! We had such a lovely weekend at the Southmoreland on the Plaza. Location is everything and this place is walking distance to Country Club Plaza and the art museums. Self check-in was a breeze! The rooms were immaculate as were the common areas. We spent a lot of time sitting in the enclosed patio area because it was so lovely. There are two things to note: 1. There are only stairs, no elevator. 2. Parking is VERY tight. It would be impossible to park a large SUV or truck in their parking lot (though there is some street parking available). We've stayed at the sister property, the Oak Street Mansion, in the past. We will absolutely stay at either place the next time we are in Kansas City.

Room was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and the jacuzzi tub relaxing. It is an easy walk to the Plaza restaurants and art museums. It is self-service which is nice if you are not wanting extra amenities or crowds.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights for a couples getaway. We loved the home and the room. We had a wonderful time relaxing, reading and walking to the plaza. My sister recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. Thank you for a beautiful, safe and relaxing getaway!
